Our algorithms analyze the data provided by the sensors of Motobit Sentinel and your smartphone to understand how you usually approach curves! Approaching speed, cornering speed, lean angle, braking deceleration and road geometry are just some of the information used to determine your personal riding behavior.
A single tour with curvy roads provides all information needed for Motobit to define YOUR PERSONAL riding behavior. Your profile will grow with you as the more you ride, the more accurate it gets!

We designed Motobit Sentinel with one goal: TO IMPROVE YOUR SAFETY while motorcycling.
It does not matter which motorbike you ride or for how long you have been on the road, Motobit Sentinel will watch your back during all your future rides.
Motobit Sentinel will come with an interchangeable silicone strap using a 22mm quick-release mechanism as well as a detachable clip for maximum comfort. For charging purposes, a USB cable using a magnetic connector also comes in the box. That's all you need to getup and running!

As much as we love motorcycling, we realized how dangerous it can be.
Intending to improve motorcycle safety for everyone, we founded motobit GmbH.
Since the start of this project, a lot of things happened: we got incubated in Science Park Graz, one of the most important high-tech startup incubators in Austria, and received public support for our research work from both FFG and AWS, two of the biggest nation-wide research funding institutions.
We found new motivated team members who share our passion.
We hit the road a lot on our Ducati Scrambler and Kawasaki ER-6n to test both the Motobit app and Motobit Sentinel (and had a lot of fun doing it).
We made a lot of new friends that helped us to bring Motobit Sentinel a step further with their suggestions and feedback.
It was a long journey that glued us together even stronger to become motorcyclists to make motorcycle riding safer!

As being motorcyclists ourselves, we know what a risk is.
This is our first crowdfunding campaign but we are working on Motobit Sentinel for more than two years and have already taken many measures to mitigate risks.
We have already found a European manufacturing partner for Motobit Sentinel as well as a logistic partner for fulfilling the shipment of the perks.
Moreover, we have already developed an Android version of the Motobit app, that is available in the countries of Austria, Germany, and Italy and can count of more than 2000 active users.
